There is just no way I can subject you to the torture of beginning this podcast with more news on the Kansas City Royals.

We're going to have to save that for later, but what an absolute abject failure and disaster

Monday night was for the Royals in a game at Kaufman Stadium that was just a complete and

utter train wreck. Welcome to KKHI. We will save that for down the road. We begin today

with a correction from the podcast on Monday. And we thank Karen and several other listeners who

sent me an email alerting me to this. It had to do with Gracie Hunt's engagement party and the

trophies of the World Cup, the Super Bowl, the World Series,

the Stanley Cup and whatnot at the party, and it was pointed out to me that this was at a

sweetheart ball that her mom and dad threw that the family attended in Dallas. It's a big

social suiress and all the rage. So the mistake I made was reading this on page six of the New York Post

over the weekend. And then not, I can't double check every story when I see it from some sort

of a media outlet. And I certainly don't care that much about celebrity news double checking it,

but they had conflated the story with all these pictures of her and Derek Green and the proposal and the arch and the things that they did and then they were back home.

And that story's been pulled by the New York Post and page six.

And the emailers, those of you that are up on the Gracie Hunt news closer than I am, were correct.

There were two separate suarez thrown by Clark and Tavia Hunt. One, a big huge destination thing for her daughter

and the engagement and then the sweetheart ball were all these trophies worse. That does

change the context of what I said. It seemed a little in your face for an engagement party,

but it does not really seem in your face at all for a charity ball.
