So, Patty, it's one of those weekends when we were together yesterday,

we really didn't have any idea that the world was going to unfold

in the next few hours as it did.

So probably at about 9 o'clock last night,

we started to get indications that the expected attack

that have been expected for some days by Iran on Israel was starting to take place.

And in the way of the world in 2024, sort of things start to appear on social media.

You're never quite sure if it's real.

Images come out, scripts and scraps of little bits and pieces of reporting start to

emerge and I suppose by about 10 o'clock it was clear that something pretty big was

happening.

Yes and also it unfolded with this sense of two hours, three hours to go till they reached Israel's territory.

So it was slow moving drones at first.

Then we had from Iran state media ballistic missiles were also fired.

And it all came to a head really over Jerusalem at about one in the morning and we can hear now

the sirens and when you're listening to them you have to imagine star bursts

and flashes in the sky and then what happened was as the defences streaked

towards the incoming missiles there were bursts in the skies like sort of

exploding stars for the people who saw them. That's right and if you look at just the
