the first time in some months good news for the fans of Derby County. Yes, the EFL has decided not

to appeal the recent judgement which was to give Derby a £100,000 fine and submit their accounts.

There was a danger that the EFL could have tried to force through some form of judgement which

would have resulted in a point deduction being assigned effectively retrospectively for

21, for season 2021 and that would have caused huge problems. It was never really practical

so Derby do have to resubmit their calculations according to the EFL. I think it would be

good if both of those parties who have been firing shots at each other through websites

just said ultimately don't we love football because of football and not because of amortisation.

So perhaps it will give both sides of the debate a bit of breathing space. So the EFL have said on
