This is Intelligent Squared.

And I'm sure you have heard the lament about America's universities

or at least many of its most elite universities

that they don't just lean left in the politics of most of their faculties

and administration.

And that's a claim that has a lot of support behind it, research behind it.

But also, and here's where the claim gets a little bit more contentious.

That many of these same elite universities are so captured by the left

that competing viewpoints are stifled on campus.
