In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask you pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer fruitful. My immaculate mother, St. Joseph,

my father and Lord, my guardian angel, intercede for me. The solemnity of the most holy body

and blood of Christ, Corpus Christi. A reading from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 9.

Jesus said to his disciples,

You give them something to eat.

They said,

We have no more than five loaves and two fish,

unless we are to go and buy food for all these people.

For there were about 5,000 men.

In taking the five loaves and two fish, looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd and all ate and were

satisfied and they took up what was left over twelve baskets of broken pieces on On the Feast of Corpus Christi, we give thanks to God

because he continues to feed his disciples with the Eucharist. In 2004, St. John Paul II led his

last Corpus Christi procession. He could no longer walk. Archbishop Marini and Monsignor Conrad

Kajuski helped place the Pope on a platform of a specially prepared car. In front of him was the

monstrance of the Blessed Sacrament. Monsignor Kajuski explains, he went down to Via Merlana

towards the Basilica of St. Mary Major. At some point,

the Pope gave a sign to me to come closer. He said in Polish, I want to kneel down. I was so

surprised by this request that I didn't know what to say. I realized that it was physically impossible.
