There's a weird scam that's spreading.

A woman was minding or a business just putting gas into her truck at a gas station and this

guy comes to her and says, oh, a beautiful woman like you, you should not be pumping your

own gas and she's like, nah, it's okay.

I got it.

He said, no, no, no.

I'm a gentleman.

Let me help you out.

And I will pump the gas for you.

I mean, you don't want to ruin your great outfit, do you?

And she's like, no, no, no.

He said, no, I insist.

I am going to pump the gas for you. She's like, all right. Okay. So then she goes home and suddenly she gets an alert from her bank that she spent $168 at that gas station.

Well, here's what the deal is.

It's a new scam called pump switching.

The scammer who wants to pump the gas for you, yeah, he's stealing from you.

They never put the nozzle back and they end up putting gas in their own car.
