Welcome to 9 to 5 Mac Daily for Tuesday, February 3, 26.

0:07.3

I'm your host, Chance Miller.

We are sponsored this week by Stuff, the clean and powerful to-do list application.

Leading off today, Apple is widely expected to bifurcate the launch of the iPhone 18 lineup.

0:21.6

Sources, including Ming Chi-Quo, Bloomberg, and the information have reported that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold will launch later this year, followed by the base model iPhone 18 next spring.

0:34.6

A new supply chain report this week corroborates that timeline.

iPhone 18 Pro at their respective launches instead of cramming it together all at once.

1:31.3

The story also says that Apple will soon host its regular meeting with supply chain partners at Apple Park.

1:37.5

This year, in comparison to prior years, that event has been expanded to include more component makers and materials suppliers,

1:45.6

so Apple can ensure supply chain continuity for the whole year.

1:50.0

So to recap, 2026 and 27 will be different years for the iPhone,

1:54.8

but we're still expecting plenty of new announcements from Apple.

1:58.7

Next up today, Apple's long-awaited studio display refresh might be happening sooner rather

2:03.7

than later.
