Hey guys, welcome back to the improved photography podcast.

This is where we're going to sit around our digital campfire

and nerd out about photography for a while.

And to help me around our digital campfire,

we have Brent, and we also have Stephen Nolly thanks for coming on

guys my pleasure thanks for having me so it's it has been snow apocalypse

still here in the Pacific Northwest. I spent this past week out chasing

waterfalls that were frozen and and the amazing winter wonderland that is the Pacific Northwest right now.

What have you guys been shooting lately?

I got to Palouse Falls and do the same kind of thing and it was fantastic with the huge ice mound that was forming at the base of the falls

got it was able to climb that and then got pelted with a bunch of ice because the

wind shifted and all that well well not all that water, but a lot of that water that was falling down came pretty much right on me and my camera and I still had a blast. It was awesome.

Wow, that's cool I've been shooting lifestyle

photography in I'm shooting for a restaurant group so it's a lot of

nighttime indoor lifestyle stuff so it's really high ISO and so I've been trying to balance

how high can I can I really pump the ISO and how much how much noise can I remove before

completely destroying these images.

But it's a challenge really shooting in dark bars.

And they get so dark.

You're experimenting not only with high ISOs,
