It's Tuesday, January 16th, 2023. And there was really only one story yesterday that's worth

talking about the Iowa caucuses next on the AM update.

Today's episode will be just a little bit shorter because there's only really one story worth

talking about, as I noted.

The big winner of yesterday's Iowa caucuses are Democrats prospects in 2024.

Setting aside, of course, the fact that all of the major networks and news outlets called the race

for Donald Trump before people like myself had even voted at their caucus locations,

last night was an absolute statement win for Donald Trump. And in doing so, he's likely got

the inside path for the GOP nomination. This means that the Democrats' job in

2024, in my estimation, just got a lot easier. Having Trump on the ballot on the GOP side,

if he even makes it that far, and I have my doubts, having him on that side of the ballot,

well, Joe Biden's already beaten him once, and they've

already proven they can run shenanigans against Trump like they did in 2020.

That's not even taking into account all of the lawfare against Donald Trump, which will

surely continue.

We've already gotten a preview when it comes to ballot access issues of what Democrats' plans are

in blue states, at least with blue secretaries of state around the country. They don't even plan

if he makes it that far. In some of these states like Pennsylvania, Nevada, elsewhere, they don't

even plan on letting people vote for Donald Trump. I take no glee in any of this whatsoever.

The 2024 election was indeed shaping up to be one of the most pivotal elections in the nation's history, in my opinion.

Of course, I've heard that every single year, but this year with what Joe Biden has done to this country and allowing millions of illegal aliens across

our southern border, 2024 might just be the last shot we have at a federal level of saving
