which for me means two and a half three hours tops.

So this should be fairly brief.

You know, yeah, I woke up at 4.19 this morning

and Yawe downloaded this whole thing to me and it was not on my radar

It's not what I planned on teaching on but man sometimes when he does that those are the nights where you're like okay. He's really preparing to do something significant in us.

So, 419 this morning,

Holy Spirit woke me up and began to download some things to me

out of a really familiar text.

Hey Dana, can you bump me up just a little bit here?

Thank you, amigo.

And we're gonna start in verse 17 and then we may backtrack a little bit.

This is the story that of the one that we've called the rich young ruler.

Now that's a religious name that is a secondary consequence of deductive reasoning.

The account, there's an account of this story here in Mark 10, the one we're sharing.

There's also one in Matthew 19, and I think there's one in Luke 18.

These accounts of the one that we would call the rich young ruler.

By those three synoptic accounts, we understand that the young man was rich

we understand that he was young and we understand that he was a ruler and they all

three provide a little bit different perspective of the same story.

Interestingly, you cannot identify the man as rich

and you cannot identify the man as a ruler
