Welcome to the Before Breakfast Podcast. Today's tip is to promote your own good work

by asking others to celebrate it with you. In general, such celebrating makes accomplishments far more fun.

Today's tip, like a few others this week, comes from Meredith Feynman's book,

Brag Better, Master the Art of fearless self-promotion. While many of us hope that

our work speaks for itself, Feinman suggests giving good work a little bit more

amplification. After all, people can't take advantage

of your useful, wonderful work

unless they know about it.

And no one can read our minds.

Now, I know it's hard for many of us to stand up and boast, but there are ways to feel more authentic

about this, and a good one is to involve others in our good times.

For instance, if you do something really cool cool you can invite your friends for a fun

activity dinner or drinks to celebrate the accomplishment.
