I'm going to tell you a little story. So I love this. It's a story about my wife. My wife was born in Germany. Her mom is

Immigrated here from Germany. Her father's parents immigrated here from Armenia and so when my wife was growing up she didn't actually

hear a lot of sort of common English phrases because her parents one was you

know one was first generation American one one was a fresh American.

And so sometimes I'll just use standard idioms

and she'll be like, what?

Like, I don't know, like, you know know the worm is turned or whatever.

And so the other day we were talking and I'm like, you know, she was mentioning some situation.

I'm like, oh well, you know, Occam's Razor says this and she says what and I'm like

aqums raiser she says what the fuck he talking about and I'm like oh well

it's a principle it says the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

She's like, what's raisers have to do with it?

And then she just looks at me like, I'm a fucking freak.

And I'm like, no, no, no, listen.

Everybody knows this, sweetheart.

It's not me. It's's you but she wasn't she wasn't

hearing any of that shit because if she hears a new American saying she

judges it fresh like she's like, that shouldn't be in there.

It actually seems useful.
