In his early 20s, founds Facebook.

Evan Spiegel, the founder of Snapchat, a child of the mobile communication era,

who then reinvents it. What we're just getting to, probably two, three years from now,

is their next generation of creators. Those who grew up with an iPad in hand, grew up meeting and expanding their social

network in virtual worlds, who now say, that's great. I've been using quote-unquote Metaverse

products created by those who long predated it. Now I'm going to create for my peers.

We have a very special one for you this week, and it's all about the metaverse.

That's right.

Now, if you're like me, you're super skeptical about this whole idea.

I mean, really, do we actually need or even want this idea of an immersive virtual world online

where we theoretically live, work, play, find partners, etc.

I mean, since Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg really popularized this idea last year, I've just really struggled to see why or how it would come to be.

And instead, my bet was that, you know, this could just end up being one of those things that despite the billions of dollars and brainpower going toward it, it just kind of fizzles.

It just doesn't work out.
