Drug misuse is rarely out of the headlines, grim tales of how addictive or how deadly cocaine

or heroin can be.

I didn't take my first bit of cocaine and think, oh I can't wear a little, I'm addicted

to this.

Before I ended up, it destroyed the person that was me.

I've seen somebody die in front of me in a hostel, in a corridor, they'd done heat,

walked out the door and dropped down.

Because of heroin?

Yeah.

But among the youngest drug misuse in the country, there's another drug that's somewhat

quietly sought in popularity.

There are these terrible statistics that come out for heroin and refining statistics

for cocaine.

Ketamine is never the headlight, it's kind of by stealth, risen as a problem without

being noticed.

Ketamine.

It's sweeping university campuses today, right behind cannabis as the most widely used drug

among students.

It's low-ish price tag, it's part of its appeal, but it also has a reputation and

incorrect reputation for being comparatively safe.
