When I was in China, I met with President Xi, 1.4 billion people.

I said, do you have a drug problem?

No, no, no, no.

I don't have a drug problem.

I said, hmm, why do you say that is?

We immediately give a quick trial and a death penalty to drug dealers.

And if you go to Singapore, rich, everything else, they had a huge drug problem, zero drug problem.

If you want to get rid of it now, I don't know that this country is ready for it.

I just don't know.

You know, every time I say it, I sort of like, it's not easy to say the death penalty.

But remember this, a drug dealer, a male or female drug dealer, plenty of female drug deals to a drug dealer,

will kill approximately 500 people during the course of his or her life.

Interesting that the by far leading candidate for the Republican Party is pro-death penalty for drug dealers.

That last part struck me when I heard it the first time.

In the era of fentanyl, I don't know if that number is accurate.

But if you are dealing fentanyl on any scale, I mean, if you have more than 20 customers on an ongoing basis,

you will be responsible for a death.

That's just beyond a doubt.

And so, I don't know about the death penalty, but the idea of draconian penalties for selling death?
