That's a day after the U.S. announced a new round of aid to rebuild Ukraine's decimated

energy infrastructure, which has left civilians without light and heat as frigid temperatures

set in throughout the country. We'll talk about what the U.S. is doing to help and the human

toll of Russia's war with Guardian foreign correspondent Luke Harding, who's been reporting from

inside Ukraine since the war began. He joins us.

falling. He's written what he calls a first draft of history of Russia's ongoing nine-month-long assault on Ukraine
