And I'm Maddie.

We are a mother-daughter.

We're here in the basement recording our new podcast. Lost in the Woods.

Which is going to be about lost, missing, murdered backpackers and hikers. Joyful things. Joyful things.

We are avid hikers. We do lots of hiking and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest. Spoiler alert. That's where

we live. And we've done things in Europe and in some other places that are kind of random and

kind of random. We basically will hike or backpack wherever we have the opportunity to do so.

We were recently backpacking in Europe.

We did the tour Dumont Blanc.

And on our hike, we listened to a lot of podcasts to get us through those up and downs.

The pain that we experienced.

The pain you feel when hiking for a nine days straight.

And one of us in our delirium decided it would be a great idea to come home and record a

podcast of our own.

Yeah, about things that hit very close to home for us.

Like being in the woods alone.

Getting lost.

So we look forward to sharing all of these stories with you guys.
