Hey, hey, everyone. Thank you so much for joining me today. I am so excited about this brand new podcast all about gospel-centered living. You might

be wondering right now why a podcast about gospel-centered living? That is a great question. Well,

the gospel is central to all we do, and Jesus and what he accomplished on the cross for us,

which is the reconciliation of our relationship with God really puts meaning behind everything,

and it gives us purpose to our daily living. Since the gospel is real, what does that mean for us

every day? And how does living out the truth of the gospel change the way we live? Well,

stick with me, because I'm going to dig a little deeper into what gospel center living

in this podcast is all

about. But first, if you all don't know me, which hopefully more than just my mom and my husband

are listening to this, I want to give you a quick introduction. I'm Lauren. I'm from Florida,

but I joined the Great Migration to Colorado after college in 2005, and I thought I'd stick around, you know,

for a year or two, but then suddenly, here I am, married, I have two babies, and it looks like I will

be a Rocky Mountain Mama for a very long time. My husband, he is an associate pastor at a church

plant here in Denver that started about eight years ago, and let me tell you, we both did not

expect the ministry life.

He is a graphic designer by trade, but God is blowing it out of the water. And let me tell you,

we can trust God. Just know there will always be some of those twists and turns. I have a three-year-old

daughter named River, and she's totally adorable and very in love with my little ponies.
