Hey friends, welcome back to the Finding Joy in Your Home podcast. Tonight's episode is turning out very

different than I first expected. So we actually, Jason and I

sat down to record this episode, our intro for our new theology in the home mini series. And we

sat down all ready to go. Jason was joining me. We got a few minutes into recording. And one of our

kids came in to ask a question, which happens

quite frequently.

And Jason backed up the audio a little bit to go, oh, I wonder, can you hear him when he's

first coming in the room?

And our audio was terrible.

There was this like total white noise over everything we were saying with our trusty microphone

that we use every single time we

record. And so he fiddled with it for quite a while and finally realized it is broken. Sadly,

we need a new microphone, but I have to get this episode out tonight. So I am using the lapel

mic, which is not quite as good a quality, and it doesn't work for recording

with two people.

And then one of our kids, actually two of our kids are sick, and they started crying, which

is actually why one of the kids came in to tell us.

So Jason's running to Walmart to get some medicine for him because he just is miserable

and he can't sleep.
