Lord, I believe, help thou mine unbelief.

Now, by way of introduction, especially to you newcomers, my name is Jared Halerson, and this channel is called Unshaken.

I started it almost three years ago, the day after an earthquake, rocked Salt Lake City,

leaving a lot of people around here pretty shaken up.

So, Unshaken seems like an appropriate title under the circumstances.

Then again, I was a lot less concerned about the shaking of the earth,

and more concerned about the shaking of faith that seems to be happening all around us.

You see, I'm a religious educator by profession.

And for the last, well quarter century almost, man, I'm getting old.

I've been teaching youth and young adults the word of God.

And seeing God's word have its intended effect upon his children is incredible.

But times seem to be changing, and people seem less and less interested in a serious study of the things of God.

Faith is on the wane, and doubt and discouragement are on the rise, especially among the rising generation.
