Read through verses 1 through 7, Romans chapter 1, Paul,

a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the Gospel of God, the Gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures.

Regarding his son, who asked to his human nature was a descendant of David and who through the spirit of

holiness was declared with power to be the son of God by his resurrection from

the dead and that simply means taking on remember in Ephesians 1 where we're told that the power

that God exerted when he raised Jesus from the dead and then of course he sat down by the

right hand of God and became head, supreme head of all things visible

and invisible, taking on that official role.

Of course he always had been all through time,

he's preeminent over all things.

But he came to earth to do what it would take

in order for that bridge, that gap to be filled and that bridge to be made between man and

God.

So the power that brought him forth from the dead, it says then in verse 5, through him and

for his namesake we receive grace and

apostle ship to call people from among all the

Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith.

I want you to read that line with me again.
