Ali Abulaban was a military officer stationed at the Okinawa Air Force Base when he met Anna in 2014.

out of his home. According to Ali, he and his father were often at odds. Though his family was

school, Ali's father forced him to attend community college. But he really wasn't

interested in higher education. So he decided to enlist in the military for an Intel job instead.

However, there were no positions available in Intel for that time. So after he'd finished basic
