absolutely hooked on lately. It's called Who Took Misty Copsie from ID? And honestly, we've both

been completely gripped by this, haven't we? Yeah, it's one of those cases that just gets under

your skin. It's a decades-old mystery that's haunted Western Washington for more than 30 years,

and the deeper you go, the more you realise just how many people failed this poor girl.

The story begins in September 1992.

14-year-old Misty Copsie heads to the Washington State Fair with her best friend.

But Misty never makes it home that night.

She vanishes into thin air.

And like we've seen far too many times before,

the police were very quick to label her a runaway.

Except Misty's mum, Diana, knew that that wasn't true,

and she begged police to listen, but they didn't.

Five months later, a search party finds a pair of jeans, socks and underwear dumped on the side

of a highway.

Misty's mum, Diana, recognises those jeans instantly.

They're her daughters, but the police are sceptical.

And then nothing.

For more than 30 years, that's all anyone had.
