Music I met my best friend when we were both seven years old.

It was 1989, and our families moved in a few houses down the street from each other.

We lived in a little town, about 30 minutes across the Ohio River from Cincinnati.

Her family had been there about a year before we arrived,

and there weren't many other kids in the neighborhood.

So, we hit it off.

And pretty soon, we were at each other's houses every day.

Some memories come with a hazy glow around them.

They feel like they happened in another world. And in a way,

I guess they did. The world where we met in 1989 doesn't exist anymore. Life doesn't feel like that
