Hey everybody, welcome to the writing room. We're so glad that you're part of this. I'm here with Kimberly Stewart, Kim.

Hello, so good to be here, Bob. Yeah, I'm so glad we get to talk writing and words and it's going to be a fun adventure.

This really sprung out of a friendship that we started.

How many years ago was that?

A few years.

I'd have to look at the calendars.

A few different years ago where we were speaking at the same spot.

Yeah, yeah. And then we just decided, I guess we decided we'd be friends because now we

do writing workshops together. We do writing coaching together. And we thought, what if we just

onboard people with their idea of writing for nothing? Let's just go do this and say, how is it that you get this

idea, you want to write a book, you've got something to say, and how do we go through it?

So what we're hoping to do in this podcast would be to take different facets, bring you different

people, understand what their process was,

understand what ours was. And the goal isn't for you to learn more about other people,

but to unlock something in yourself, to say, okay, so this is what I'm going to do. So a little bit

about you, Kim, tell us who you are and how did it come. You've read like so many books.

You've read more books than I've thought about. Probably not true. But I have written a couple.

I've written, see, I think I've eight out. I know there's one buried under a tree in my backyard that I will never show anyone.

So if you count that, it's nine. And a lot of

fall starts along the way too. I've written quite a bit of fiction and I'm kind of pivoting

into a nonfiction space. I keep trying to quit, Bob. I keep trying to quit this job. And then I
