The Park in West Palm Beach is one of the most exciting municipal golf course projects in recent memory. Designed by Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner, The Park opened on Monday and brings high-quality public golf architecture to South Florida. 0:47.0	You know, deeply involved with every project that Hans Golf Design is doing, which is right now.
0:54.0	They have quite a few projects. We are going to go into great detail on today's episode about the park.
1:02.0	The park is opening this week. It opened on Monday, and it is a new public golf facility in West Palm Beach.
1:10.0	It is a mere 10 minutes from the airport.
1:14.0	Very close to Jupiter, Pointe Beach, Delray Beach.
1:19.0	All sorts of vacation spots down there in South Florida.
1:23.0	Obviously pretty close to Fort Lauderdale in Miami as well.
1:27.0	The park is a new development, which was an old course.
1:32.0	So it was the West Palm Beach golf course, which was a Dick Wilson design from about, I think it was 1947.
1:40.0	It was a golf course that had gone out to pasture.
1:44.0	So, you know, it was losing the city money and it closed down and had been non operational for about five years.
1:54.0	It was resurrected by Seth Waw, who obviously, you know, is the CEO of the PGA.
2:02.0	He was doing this not as the PGA, but as a citizen.
