Hi, I'm Chuck Rosenberg.

I spent most of my professional life in public service.

I was a federal prosecutor.

I worked at the FBI and I ran the DEA.

Since leaving the Justice Department, I have been distressed by the level of discourse

in this country.

These days, there seems to be more heat than light.

And so my new podcast, The Oath with Chuck Rosenberg, is based on a simple premise.

We're going to have thoughtful conversations about difficult topics with interesting people.

I'm sure you've heard of some of them, like Pete Barar, the former United States attorney

from the Southern District of New York.

You'd like to think not only is known above the law, but you also like to think that every

victim, no matter what their social standing, their occupation, that they can be indicated

in court too.

And Lisa Monaco, Homeland Security Advisor to President Barack Obama.

You were part of a mission to work with the President's National Security team to help

keep the country safe.

That's the job.

Jim Comey, the former director of the FBI.

Specifically in institutions like the FBI, it runs down into bedrock.

Those values are at the heart of that place, and no president serves long enough to screw
