This is the first episode in a series of episodes that I'm calling the history of the

papacy podcast remastered or re-engineered

or something like that. I'm going to be working on re-releasing a bunch of the earlier episodes

of the podcast. I'll include some new information, and these episodes, of course, will have

better audio quality as well.

I'm also going to reorganize their numbering into something that makes a bit more sense.

Worry not, though, because this won't affect new episodes.

New episodes and series will be coming out, too.

So I hope you like these newly remastered episodes.

I think that between the audio quality,

some extra material that will be added in there, and the reorganization will help them put into better context of how they fit with the entire history of the papacy project. Because I mean,

I've been working on this since 2000, essentially

very early 2012 to the middle of 2012. That's when I really started researching the podcast.

And then I released the first episodes in January of 2013.

So at this point in 2021, I've been working on this for a long time.

And a lot has changed.
