But also a lesson in the ways the institutions that are meant to bind our society together can fail. We think of today

as an age of misinformation and lies. I think the media is among the most dishonest

groups of people I've ever known.

It's terrible.

But was a seat of distrust's own 17 years ago

that's taken root and spread.

Distrust in the political class that drove the war.

His regime aids and protects terrorists.

In those parts of the media that weren't asking enough questions in the run-up to it,

or the intelligence services that got it so wrong.

How difficult would it be if actually we don't find weapons and mass destruction?
