Peanuts travel podcast the show that will inspire you to travel and then

teach you how to do it for cheap.

I'm Trav, the creator of Extra Pack of Peanuts, and someone who is perpetually struck

with a case of wanderlust.

And this show is all about helping you make your travel dreams a reality.

Since this is the first show, I want to take some time to give you a little bit of my background,

tell you how and why I started Extra Pack of Peanuts, and then

talk about the structure and goal of this podcast, as well as how all of this is going

to help you. One of the first questions I always get asked when I tell

people that I run a travel website and that it's called Extra Pack of Peanuts is, why is this site

named Extra Pack of Peanuts?

And believe it or not, there's actually a travel-related story behind the name.

When I was a youngster about seven or eight, my grandparents decided to move down to Florida full-time

like so many grandparents decided to do. Which was awesome because they were going to

have a pool while Disney World was down there,
