What's up, good folks? This is Dr. John Deloney, host of the Not So Creatively

Titled, The Dr. John Deloney Show. For the past two decades, I've walked alongside countless

people during their most challenging and darkest moments. I've sat with people in the aftermath

of destructive life choices, I've held mothers and fathers after losing loved one or a child,

and I've walked alongside both young and old folks crushed by heartbreak and loss,

anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. And along the way, I've wrestled with

my own mental health and relationship demons. I've earned two PhDs and I've partnered with parents,

families, and businesses from senior leaders to hourly employees to help people live lives of

dignity, joy, and purpose. And through it all, I believe that there is joy and meaning and relationships

and laughter on the other side of disconnection, mental illness, and pain. And let's look around.

Everyone's hurting. Everyone is spun out, fried, and exhausted. And we are addicted, lonely,

and so, so tired. In this new, weird world, our spouses don't really know us, our friends don't

really know us, our pretend internet communities for sure don't know us. We don't really even know us.

We have a thousand friends on the internet and no one to help us move our couch. We don't know

what to do and it feels like we are drowning, but the despair stops now. I am sick of the bad news,

the tragedy that overly simplified, the catchphrase, the Google diagnosed world that we all live in.

So I started a caller driven show where I will walk with you to help you reconnect,

increase your relational IQ, reimagine your life, and get on a path towards becoming whole.

On this show, I'm going to take your calls and hear your stories. And I'm a straight shooter man,

I'm going to tell you the truth. And I will give you the real talk you need on life,

relationships, parenting, mental health challenges. And I'm going to give you practical tools and wisdom

that you need to change your thoughts and actions. You can own your present and change your future.
