This summer, story time for grown-ups is going deep into the foundations of storytelling.

There will be magic. There will be romance. There will be ball gowns and apples and strange

wishing wells. We'll meet princes and princesses, wicked witches and fairy godmothers, and will

survive at least one curse. Welcome to the world of fairy tales. Welcome to

Summer Session, 2025. Summer Session is like a college class, only fun. And this summer, we're taking a

deep dive into the stories that underpin so many of our favorite narratives. Together, we'll read some of

the most famous fairy tales in their original forms, and we'll talk about their relationship

to the books we've read on Storytime this year and their importance to modern storytelling

more generally. Storytime is for grown-ups, and so are fairy tales. I'm Faith Moore, host of
