Picture Miami. Picture its beaches. Picture the palm trees. Swain in the wind. Picture three radio

journalists assassinated in cold blood. They left the body there for reason. It was the

calling call. It's like the mafia's the death. They can kill us. Anyone else was at

the end time. Most people come to Miami after the sun and the sand. I was in Miami as

a reporter and I looked past the palm trees. I first covered these murders almost 30 years

ago. But they were never solved and they left an open wound. The radio journalists had

moved to Miami from Haiti. They were using a new found freedom and the radio airwaves

to ignite a revolution at home. And that's when the killing started. You're picking off

these people one by one. At moments of maximum tension as a warning to them it's definitely

psychological warfare. This all happened in small, tight-knit neighborhood known as little

Haiti. And yet the mastermind has never been called. To find him we had to go deep into

a world of drugs and darkness, talking to agents from the FBI and DEA. It's very difficult

to determine how much cocaine is coming in. It's like asking people how many people

had sex last night in Miami. Good luck trying to find that out. And then there were these

hints of a much bigger conspiracy. This year I clearly gave it me a light because those

guys were on the payroll. This was very real. If there is one thing I've learned in all

my time as a reporter is this. You cannot kill the truth with the bullet.
