hatches a cunning plan, a daring castle heist, which will see a bishop chased down a toilet shaft.

This is everything I love about Edward. He's got balls, brains and bravado. And he's not only

plantagenet, he's also capetian, grandchild of Philip the Fair, the Iron King. So it doesn't

take long before his eyes begin to wander across the channel.

And so begins an epic rivalry and bloody conflict we now know as the hundred years war.

Edward leads his country into the most spectacular battles, risking everything for his own

lofty ambitions.

But there's something on its way to Edward's kingdom, something terrible,

something no Plantagenet King could contend with.

The wheels of fate are turning, and soon Edward will be faced with the worst pandemic

the world has ever seen, the Black Death.

At the end, he'll barely have a kingdom left to rule.
