And I'm Chris, and we're here to tell you about a brand new podcast that we've been working on for 27th Letter Productions.

You might know us from our other shows on the network.

I'm the host of Hey, Do You Remember?

And Mike and I hosted a Buffy the Vampire Slayer podcast called The Sunnydale Stacks.

And even as that show was winding down, I know your listeners were very curious about what your next move was going to be. And I was a guest on the Sunnydale Stacks several times, always had a really good time there. You guys have both been on, Hey, do you remember? Those appearances were always really well received. So we started discussing the possibility of the three of us teaming up for a new project. A lot of ideas were kicked

around. This is something that we've quietly been working on now for quite some time. And

Rokes Gallery was the premise that we kept coming back to. So, what is Rokes Gallery?

So you heard the phrase that a hero is only as good as their villain, and that's been true for

every medium from movies, comic books, video games. So Rogue's Gallery is a podcast where

every other week we investigate a different villain, anti-hero, or misunderstood monster

from pop culture. All the characters that make being bad look so good.

So for each episode, we're going to structure a kind of like an audio case file,

dig into everything from origins, motives, methodology.

We'll also look at how they've evolved across different forms of media,

why certain versions' interpretations are more successful or popular than others.

Take, for example, Freddy Krueger, very different in the first movie than he is when he's

frying eggs with Johnny Depp later on in the series.

So this is obviously not a standard review show. This is a format that allows us to jump

around a little bit. We can cover an entire

franchise in a single episode or break down all the ways one particular character has been
