I promise you there has never been a children's book like this one before.

So ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, I present to you the first ever public reading of Richie meets the rainbow.

This is Richie, a curious lad, with a million questions that often drive folks mad.

Why is the sky blue?

Where do babies come from?

And why does my teacher always look so glum?

Richie loved colors. The brighter the better, and rainbows were his favorite, each

shade a treasure.

But one day at school he noticed a flaw, a rainbow with just six colors.

What happened to them all?

Teacher, said Richie, his hand held high.

Why does this rainbow leave out a stripe from the sky?

The teacher, adorned in a rainbow-themed tea, smirked and said,

That's not something for you to see.

For six is the number, and six enough it's modern it's woke it's

the progressive stuff but don't tell your parents they may not agree we'll keep it a secret

just between you and me.

Richie blinked twice, unsure of what to say, but the teacher leaned in in a conspiratorial way.

At home that night, Richie felt odd, so he asked his dad while eating some cod,

Dad, why do some rainbows have six colors bright when the ones in the sky they have
