So once we dream, shines new light on the Beatles, illuminating their story in ways not seen before.

Which is important because despite the hundreds, if not thousands of books that have been written

about them, we still haven't gotten their story all figured out. The mainstream story we know

is limited and biased because it was so largely defined in a few key periods, including the wildly

emotional political and partisan period of the breakup. And that means it's inherently flawed and

full of tropes and faulty baseline assumptions that skew everything. In fact, since the Lennon,

John Lennon's first wife, flagged that the story we know is not correct. She said this about what

she read in books that an awful lot of it was factually right, but emotionally wrong, which is a
