What? Something new in the Potterless Feed on a Wednesday? What's this? Well, I'll tell

you. It's the first episode of the new podcast I've been working on with multitude called Middling Adults. It is a game show where I host, and I have two contestants go head to head to try and solve as many children's mysteries as possible from Encyclopedia Brown, Scooby-Doo, Nancy Drew, and more. The winner earns money for a charity of their choosing, and the prizeful is determined by the size of our Patreon.

detectives for charity. I am your host, Mike Schubert. I am notoriously bad at solving children's

mysteries, which is why I am safely behind the judges table, letting others duke it out instead.

Our contestants this week are Julia Chafini and Eric Hamilton Schneider of Multitude. Today's mysteries are from Encyclopedia Brown, making us beg the question, are you too smarter than a fifth grader? The prize today is $50. Eric will be playing for the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland. Julia will be playing for Rises, the Refugee and Immigrant

Center for Education and Legal Services. So, without further ado, let's put the pedal to the

medal. Eric and Julia, how's it going? It's going good. I'm doing great. I was always more of a

boxcar kid's kid, so I'm excited to explore the world of Encyclopedia Brown, figure out what that guy was up to.

Yeah, I definitely never read an Encyclopedia Brown book. I was more of a Scooby-Doo girl growing up.
