This is our ninth season of Locatora Radio.

Our podcast is turning eight years old.

At this point, I think we're vangards in the podcast space.

We were podcasting independently for six years until we joined IHeartMedia's My Cultura Podcast Network in 2022.

I can't believe this is our third network season.

And I can't believe we're podcasting through yet another Trump election year.

We've really been podcasting through not only election years, but a global pandemic, civic unrest, political controversies, the Me Too movement, the rise of TikTok,

and we are still here. We are not done telling stories. We're still podcasting. We're older,

we're wiser, and podcasting through a new decade of our lives. And since joining My Cultura,

we've been able to cover so many topics like...

You know, we've talked about self-care and community care.

And one of the things we always say is missing from, like, the mainstream conversation about self-care is that it removes the systems that make it really challenging and difficult for us to care for ourselves

and for each other.

We now have been calling ethical chisement.

So we were like making a distinction between a chizmosa and a metiche.

Right.

Like a chizmosa is a little bit innocuous kind of harmless it's a person usually a woman
