Their skiff'd have ever received has to be a bike when I was younger, a pedal bike.

It was a sort of slick little road bike and I remember it was all like it was so it was

all wrapped up but it was so obvious what it was obviously because nothing shaped like a bike and

had a little ribbon on it and I was so gas. For that was a life changer and I'm still sort of

big on cycling around my area now so for that one change really.

Hi, Jillian here interrupting your podcast feed and listen I've got a bone to pick with

this true crime media landscape. Where are all the women? We see them, we know them,

they're key players in these stories but their perspectives just get lost sometimes.

Picture the spouse of a murder victim stepping on screen three quarters of the way through a documentary.

She drops a tidbit of context maybe about their family or their life together and then what?

She leaves and you're like no wait come back and how about the forensic psychologist mentioned

briefly in an article on an active investigation and the next door witness who heard a loud sound

and sprung into action to see what was the matter and the detective on a big bad boys team

that had a breakthrough realization. All of these badass women. Yeah I want to hear from them.

As we say on true crime obsessed let the women do the work and that's what we'll do

in my new series of the same name. We're going to reframe these true crime stories we know

and are fascinated by from the perspectives of the women in them. We'll hand the mic to journalists.

They're a little more inconspicuous you know just two guys in suits but I look like me

so it was pretty obvious who I was once the show about rolling and that was that was scary.

You know there's somebody in this town that we believed was a murderer.

Right and they're out there. Loyal friends and loved ones. I still see a non as that 18-year-old
