Hi everyone, this is Dave Shumka, co-writer and co-producer of this sound series.

I want to tell you about a new show I'm producing that is out this week.

It's called Let's Make a Sci-Fi and it's from Kelly and Kelly, the team that brought

you this sound series, along with CBC podcasts.

It's an eight-part docu-series about three comedians trying to write a legitimate science

fiction TV show.

It stars Mark Chavez, who co-wrote this sound series, along with Ryan Beale and Maddie

Kelly, both of whom appeared in this sound series.

They're going to try to overcome their comedy instincts and write an earnest sci-fi show.

When they run into trouble, they get help from Hollywood pros like Neil deGrasse Tyson,

District 9 director Neil Blomkamp and Rain Wilson from the office.

And in the final episode, professional actors will read their final script for better or

worse.

The series launches this week, but we thought we'd hand deliver you the first episode right

here in this feed.
