How childish am I that I want that song back?

I want the name back.

I want the jerseys back.

I want that damn fight song back.

I doubt we'll get any of that.

But I do think this ownership group is serious

about discussing a name and a brand change. I will get to all that was said early this

morning on the Today Show. And then during the introductory press conference earlier this

afternoon, a little bit later on in

the program today. I did hear that song sung loud and proud, probably two dozen times,

and nobody forgot the words last night at the bullpen. Quite the scene down there. What a great spot. Bo Blair does such a great job with all of his restaurants. And the bullpen's such a great spot. And it was the perfect spot to have the party that we had. Josh Harris from Minneapolis bought everybody in the joint a beer. That is pretty smart.

And he did the same thing for a bar, ox brewery in Ashburn, where Grant and Danny from 1067,

the fan were doing a show. But last night, yesterday and last

night, were actually surprising hours for me. And I'll explain why coming up here in a moment.

But I wanted to start with just the introductory press conference for our new ownership group earlier today.

They killed it.

The whole thing was everything I hoped it would be.

It was short.

It was to the point.

You know, there was no reason to oversell anything.
