I really had never thought that rape could happen to quote unquote somebody like me.

That's what Nancy Hawkes had Meekar said when we interviewed her for the show.

She survived a brutal rape in college and harassment from a coach and then she went on to win four

Olympic medals.

I've never talked to an olympian before.

Me neither.

And I feel more accomplished just by association.

When I was training in my mind, I would fight with him, but this time I was the

victor. And so I had tons of anger that I could like use it to actually go faster.

You know, I had a giant knife and I was slicing his head off and blood was going everywhere and it was wonderful.

Right?
