Hi, this is Mac Rogers, the writer of Steel the Stars, the full cast audio thriller

that is the first season of this podcast.

And I'm Jordana Williams, and I directed Steel the Stars, and more importantly recorded

the credits.

We wanted to talk to you all about another science fiction podcast that we've created

called Give Me Away from the exact same creative team of Steel the Stars, same writers, same

directors, same producers, same sound designer, but a brand new story that goes in a different

direction.

And I loved making Give Me Away in a really similar way to how I loved making Steel the Stars,

and that we built these full, rich, deeply inhabited characters that we put in some very unusual

out of this world circumstances.

Give Me Away is about a spaceship that lands in the Nevada desert that gets called the

ghost house because when the scientists and soldiers crack it open, thousands and thousands

of screams come out.

It turns out that those screams are extraterrestrial political prisoners who have been uploaded into

its horrific mainframe.

And the only way to free them is to transfer them into the minds of humans who are then willing

to share their minds with an alien second consciousness for the rest of their lives.

But who would volunteer for that?

Our main character, Graham Shapiro, who is divorced and adrift at age 50, is one of the first

to raise his hand.
