Curled up in your big comfy chair, you can hear the wind bouncing

sleet off of the bay window. As you imagine the chill you would get

if you had to be outside, you wrap your fuzzy blanket tighter around you.

Just as you're about to open your favorite book, you hear a knock on the front door.

Wondering who could possibly show up at this late an hour, you slip into your robe and make

your way to the foyer. Before flipping the light switch on,

you slide the cover from the peephole and peer through.

Standing just on the other side of the door are two young boys.

They must be in trouble to be out this late, especially in this kind of weather,

and with no adult to accompany them. They must be freezing the poor things.

Worried, you quickly release the locks and swing the door open.

A feeling of dread mingle with a strange fear starts to fill your veins.
