When I was a kid, my family owned a Chinese restaurant in the suburbs of Perth in Western Australia.

But in the year I turned eight, something really strange happened.

One of the owners of the Man Lynn restaurant was rung at about 2 o'clock this morning and told that his business was in flames.

Our family's restaurant was firebombed in the middle of the night.

I really scared and frightened.

This was a targeted attack.

The offenders had gone there specifically to torch that particular business.

We had no idea that this was just the start of a story that would span decades.

The police say they can't be sure that fires are linked, but admit the

coincidence is highly suspicious. The number started escalating

that seriously targeting Chinese restaurants. The latest attack happened just

after three o'clock this morning. The number of Chinese restaurants were set ablaze.
