podcast that I just discovered and have been binging my way through called Explain

it to me like I'm Five. So listen, I have a five-year-old at

home, my daughter, Fiona, and you know what five-year-olds have a lot of questions about

literally everything? It is kind of the most fun and

occasionally the most frustrating part of being a parent to a kid this age. If you

have little kids at home and you know they are not just going to take your word for it that they should take a bath or

that it's not going to make their itchy skin better if they scratch it even though it feels

really really good to scratch it explain that mom know, because I'm said so is not cutting it out here. Well, hosts

Tim and Kevin of Explain It to me like I'm five have got you covered with their bite-size lessons about these and many other pressing

topics that are likely to come up when it's about 10 minutes past bedtime such as why is it

so hard to run in a dream and are you sure that megaladons are extinct?

But how do you know exactly?

You can also learn about things that your five-year-old is probably less likely to ask you about, such as who does a country

owe money to when they're in debt, and what is the Striseand effect?

So if you have a spouse like mine, i.e. so smart that it's frankly a little bit annoying,

you can use the knowledge from these lessons to occasionally dunk on them,

and even the score out a little bit for those moments when they do things like

explain thermodynamics on the fly for example. You know this show is a delight and

I think you will love it too. I have been putting it on in the car whenever I'm running errands and the five minute
