Dr. Scott Keith, as usual, and we have a special guest today, Daniel Emery Price. We're going to do

an episode on the parables of Jesus. We always have a lot of listeners ask about kind of doing exegesis

on the show, which really isn't one of the

topics we cover. Most of the guys on the show are systematic, historical theologians. It's not that

they can't do or have never done exegesis, but that's not the exact focus. Today we're going to

talk about the parables, maybe not wholly exegetically, but kind of looking at them,

contextually, their importance within scripture, and sort of maybe even their importance

to the contribution of Christian doctrine.
