You're about to listen to a BBC podcast and I'd like to tell you a bit about the

podcast I work on. I'm Dan Clark and I commissioned factual podcasts at the BBC.

It's a massive area but I'd sum it up as stories to help us make sense of the forces shaping the world.

What podcasting does is give us the space and the time to take brilliant BBC journalism

and tell amazing compelling stories that really get behind the headlines.

And what I get really excited about is when we find a way of drawing you into a subject

you might not even have thought you were interested in.

We're still on a little bit of a break at the moment.

It's just kind of a couple of weeks longer than I said it would be but hey oh you got to

enjoy your summer when you can I listen to last week's pod with Gareth and with

Jamie Roberts as well great there here Jamie on such good form

I had a run while I was listening to that so that was good. It is kind of nice to get

into the the frame of mind of the rest of you guys and be part of the team again.

We will be back with a proper pod view as soon as myself and Martin can sort out our schedules

and get ourselves in the same place and sit down and we'll crack on with a season preview just as soon as we can.

We want to catch up with a fair few names as well as the season starts too. But I wanted to take this little break to introduce you to

another podcast that we make as BBC Sport for BBC Radio Wales it's called Alice James's Feast of Football. Alice is a comedian.

You might have seen a stand-up stuff. You might have seen him on TV on Josh or I don't know if he doesn't radio X you might have heard a show with

John Robbins as well.
