The coronavirus pandemic is fundamentally a public health challenge to us right now.

But as we've seen in a series of special episodes that we've been running the last few weeks,

that public health challenge has broad interaction with a whole bunch of other

serious policy issues. One is the economy, and we've explored that in a recent episode.

Another is the law itself, specifically constitutional law, the law that governs the question of

where public health stops and your individual

liberties begin.

That's an issue that's only beginning to emerge as central in our public debate around

governmental response to the coronavirus.
